ZAMMI started its activities in 1979, when the oxygenators were made of steel and reused, being the pioneer in Brazil in the manufacture and commercialization of disposable oxygenators for cardiac surgery. In the 1980s, ZAMMI expanded its Cardiac Surgery product line and its Hospitalar Line, with products developed from the need who handle it and for the patient safety.

 

For decades ZAMMI has dedicated itself exclusively to these two lines, developing and selling high quality products and technology, which has led the company to international recognition. Focusing on research and development of innovative products, Zammi has expanded its area of ​​expertise with products in Intensive Care and Thoracic Surgery lines.

  • We invest in research and development with our own R&D Center. We participate and visit the main World Congresses always looking for new techniques and technology.
  • Our Ethylene Oxide Sterilization Unit was approved in accordance with Interministerial Ordinance 482 (04/19/1999). These facilities enable the continuous flow of production without intermediaries, contributing to the guarantee of the final product.
  • The factory follows the regulation with a controlled environment, the employees are trained and qualified to ensure the quality and safety of health products.

Socio-Environmental Responsibility

SUSTAINABILITY IS NOT JUST A SPEECH IN OUR COMPANY, IT IS A WORK PHILOSOPHY.

 Concern for the environment has been part of our history for some years. In 1999, the group was recognized by the United Nations Development Program for the elimination of the use of CFC in the industrial process, as it implemented a technological solution to replace the use of Freon in production processes, whose emission to the atmosphere attacks the ozone layer, contributing to the environmental preservation of our planet. The company adopts a Waste Management Plan so they are not discarded in nature. As part of this plan, there is separation of waste in containers available in the areas, which are collected and stored at a specified location for later collection by third parties. One of them is responsible for the common waste, and another, responsible for the solid waste to be reprocessed. Effluents are treated in-house through the E.T.E (Sewage Treatment Plant) and chemical neutralization tanks.
